holy S$%T we bought a house....again.

Well. Not exactly like it was an accident or anything. We only looked and stalked the poor old owners and neighbours for like 5 months EVERY weekend, while we loathed our old ghetto-ass hood where we tried to push our modern and minimalist house on hoards of multi-generational families from far corners of the earth.

We started looking casually this summer in a neighbourhood that was very much out of our price range. You know how that goes sometimes. You drive, you dream, you eat ice cream and have coffees. You start running a casual spreadsheet to figure out some what if scenarios. You casually list your house and have a disappointing weekend of open houses after open houses with no action and just as you draw the final line in the sand and say, this is the weekend or we forget the whole thing (for the 10th time), it happens. Emails, calls, lawyers, insurance agents, brokers, surveyors, Realtors, city halls, banks, inspectors, fax machines, scanners, low work productivity for a week and somehow we are moving in in 2 days.

We have moved 13 times in 10 years from apartments and houses all up and down the West coast, but somehow this feels a lot different. This is home. Welcome to Woodbine.

Now, lets get to work and make this place look really cool.
